My passion for flowers started in my garden with beautiful wildflowers used in floral arrangements.
This is where the Poppymallow name came from. The poppy mallow flower (also known as the wine cup) is a wildflower native to Texas and many parts of the United States & Mexico.
I started my floral design business with formal education grounded in the elements and principles of design.
I currently train with several of the world's best floral artists and bring as sustainable as possible, modern, floral design to Central Texas.
Here is how to work with me
1. I go to the market frequently to know the freshest, in season, local flowers available, and I make recommendations based on your needs.
2. I'll give you an estimate for your order.
3. After receiving your final payment, I'll make a special trip to the market just for you.
4. I create the arrangements which are then delivered. You can also pick them up in my Cedar Park studio.
I am committed to reducing environmental impact by sourcing flowers locally whenever possible, using eco-friendly packaging, and composting waste. I also offer reusable vases and encourage my clients to bring them back for future arrangements. I also do not use any floral foam and rely on old fashioned mechanics in new ways.
I completed the Sustainable Floristry Network certification and am the first florist in Texas to have achieved this certification.
